When Laura Wood came on as a consultant for our school district, she opened my eyes and helped me move in the right direction in both the areas of reading and writing. Her knowledge and expertise of various methods of instruction is extensive. She presented new programs, was available for questions and suggestions, and was a positive source of support to us all. She guided us through Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop and our new Fountas and Pinnell reading program.
